What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra, a state of conscious deep sleep, is a simple and accessible technique that unwinds the nervous system and induces complete physical and mental relaxation with inner awareness. This is a practice to enrich, soothe and nourish one’s everyday experience of life. It provides a space to lie down, listen and find yourself connecting with all that you are and everything that is. You will explore your body and breath, using your senses as a microscope to observe and welcome every aspect of your being, leading the body and mind into a deep state of relaxation. Yoga Nidra doesn’t try to fix anything, instead, through deep heartfelt listening and welcoming, it allows many problems of the body and mind to find harmony and resolution.

What to Expect?

The class includes gentle asana and breathwork followed by the practice of Yoga Nidra. During Yoga Nidra practice, you are lying in savasana on yoga mats, fully supported with bolsters, cushions, and blankets to enable a deeply relaxing experience. Feel free to bring your eyes pillow or a small towel.

All yoga props will be included in this offering. This class will be a small intimate gathering limited to 8 people. This session is open to all levels. No yoga and meditation experience is required.
