This class mixes traditional Hatha yoga techniques such as gentle yoga poses, breath work and the use of mantras (words or phrases) and mudras (hand gestures) to facilitate a deep meditative state that helps release blockages in the mind and body.
The practice of Hatha – Ha (sun) and Tha (moon) – works to restore the balance and create harmony between the masculine and feminine energies within us. It can help unlock inner strength, contentment, balance and a strong feeling of connection with the divine, the original purpose of yoga.
A great class for delving into a deeper understanding of the roots of yoga. Expect a balance of conscious movement and deep relaxation.
